Diorshow On Stage
When it comes to Liquid liners, I need one that will give me boldness, longevity, and ease of use.
Not every liner on the market has sustainability. Some work today and some don’t. I have to be very picky when choosing my liners. I love creating a matte, black, cat eye/winged liner.
This is my go to look for everyday.
Through the years, I’ve tried liners from drugstore to luxury and have found some favorites. But today, I’ll share my true thoughts on the Diorshow On Stage Liquid Liner.
This liner comes is several colors and the option of a Matte, Satin, or Pearlescent finish. With Matte giving you more color options. I tried the 091 Matte Black. To get straight to the point, I tested this liner several times and I truly can’t say that I love or hate it. I’m indifferent. I find that’s its easy to use because of the felt tip style of the pen. It makes gliding your liner on, easy. However, I found that attempting to reapply or going over several times creates flaking and eventually leads to the liner “falling off”.
Dior states its *24 hour wear, which is technically true. I have wore this for at least 12hrs (or more) in a day, did a quick workout and it stayed! What I did find though, is that the wing of my cat eye tends to fade as we get closer to the 8-12 hour mark. This could be partially my fault from rubbing the sides of my eyes or from the oils of my skin.Occasionally, I’ll get a small bit of running in that area too.
I do honestly feel that, that’s my least favorite thing about it. Something I do like about it, is the intensity of the liner. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s still holding up the intensity. I’ve seen other liners that dry out in no time and at that point, the amount of times you purchase multiple, you could have just purchased a really nice liner instead. I do still pick up this liner when I am in a rush and it works. For $35, it’s a decent liner. Not sure that I would run to re-purchase this, tbh.
