If you love the holidays and you love Makeup Holiday sets then you are going to be in for a treat with this Benefit Cheeky Sweet Shop blush palette! I personally had never tried any of Benefits blushes in the past. I always wanted to buy Coralista but just never did. They are a good $28 a piece so i was always hesitant to buy. But this year when i saw Beauty blogger Temptalia showed a sneak peek of what Benefit Cosmetics had in store for the 2014 Holiday collection i was Enamored! I knew that i just had to buy this palette!
Not only would i get to try Coralista but also four of their other blushes and their Hoola bronzer. You get 5 blushes, 1 Bronzer, 1 Highlighter and a small brush. It comes in a cute little tin can in the shape of a little shop. you get 0.17oz of each blush except for Sugarbomb which is 0.21oz and 0.05 for Watt’s Up. Retail price for this palette is $36.
Once you open it, you see this…
Here are closeups of each blush and Bronzer…Starting from the top we have Dandelion. This is a soft pink blush with a hint of shimmer
Then we have Bella Bamba which is a shimmery peach color. Which looks to have gold toned shimmer in it.
Then there is Sugar Bomb. I feel like this color is more of an orange -gold but more gold toned. This particular blush is a combination of 4 colors.
Next is the Hoola Bronzer which is great for medium to fair skin tones. Its just a Matte brown Bronzer.
Next is coralista which is a true peach blush with shimmer
And finally there is Rockateur! My Favorite! Its the most natural looking blush with a hint of a highlight. It really makes your cheeks glow but not overdone. It has a nice rosy undertone.
The last product in the palette is the Watt’s up highlighter
Here are a few swatches, first is the top row
Next is the second row starting from right to left
I definitely recommend getting this palette if you have never tried any of benefits blushes and have always wanted to. Its a great value and price for the amount of product you get.
